We are looking for a Mid QA Engineer with German language skills to support the development and quality assurance of modern software applications.

At Kyotu Technology, we collaborate with international clients on web applications, SaaS platforms, and enterprise software solutions across different industries.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in software testing, a good understanding of QA processes, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.

You will work closely with developers, product teams, and international stakeholders, contributing to reliable software delivery and continuous improvement of testing practices.

🧠 Your responsibilities

🧩 Must haves

• perform manual, functional, regression, and integration testing of web applications
• analyze requirements and prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation
• identify, report, and track defects in cooperation with development teams
• perform API testing using tools such as Postman
• execute and maintain existing automated tests where applicable
• support the development and improvement of automated test coverage
• participate in sprint planning, refinement sessions, and other Agile activities
• verify bug fixes and support release testing
• collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to improve software quality
• communicate testing progress, findings, and potential risks to project stakeholders
• participate in project discussions and meetings conducted in German and English
• minimum 3 years of commercial experience in software testing / QA
• solid experience with manual, functional, regression, and integration testing
• ability to create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation
• practical experience with API testing, preferably using Postman
• basic knowledge of test automation concepts and willingness to develop automation skills
• experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira
• basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• ability to analyze requirements and identify potential quality issues
• good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• ability to independently handle regular QA tasks and collaborate effectively with developers
• German at B2+ level, including the ability to participate in project meetings and discuss technical topics
