QA Lead Engineer (with AI)

Project overview

Together with our Business Partner, a leading global travel-tech company, we are looking for a specialist to provide services as a QA Lead.

MODE OF COOPERATION

Readiness for coordination meetings at the Partner's office in Warsaw (approximately once a week), with the remaining time being remote.

• Creating and maintaining automated tests in Playwright.
• Conducting manual and exploratory E2E tests.
• Defining and implementing test strategies for the Partner's booking products.
• Identifying further areas for automation and directions of action.
• Expanding the use of AI in QA, including by designing quality processes where AI performs the largest possible part of the tests, and measuring whether it saves time or catches more errors.
• Inspiring others to new methods of operation, including the use of AI, by sharing strategy and practical experience.
• Translating the Partner's team OKRs into a quality plan and early reporting of quality risks with the Partner's Senior Product Manager.
• Verifying that A/B test variants and analytical events function as intended before and during the experiment
• Several years of experience as a QA Engineer, including in test automation
• preferably in Playwright and TypeScript (other frameworks also count).
• Ability to set the direction of activities, define and implement test strategies.
• Solid knowledge of manual testing, E2E, and writing clear test cases.
• Experience in API testing (e.g., Postman) and practical knowledge of SQL.
• Proficient use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) in QA activities and an AI-first mindset.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear, direct communication and the ability to act both independently and in cooperation with teams.
• Ability to quickly adapt to an environment with changing priorities, proactivity, and willingness to support where quality needs it.
• Fluent English (min. B2).

Nice to have

• Experience in environments where A/B tests are conducted, including data validation.
