QA Test Engineer

Project overview

As QA Test Engineer you monitor the quality of the end product within the development team.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Monitor and manage overall quality assurance
• Lead chain tests and the release process
• Translate requirements into clear, risk-based test cases
• Perform thorough functional tests
• Analyze and test requirements and critically question them
• Apply Privacy and Security by Design principles
• Analyze performance and contribute to process and software improvements
• University work and thinking level, demonstrable through education or at least 2 years of work experience at this level
• Minimum 3 years of experience with software testing in a comparable role
• Experience with chain testing where data is exchanged with third parties
• Experience with testing apps on mobile devices
• Preferably experience within an Agile/Scrum environment with functional testing, chain testing, and release management
• Coordinating experience and ability to maintain an overview and take leadership over chain tests and releases
• Experience with digital accessibility is a plus
• Strong eye for security and privacy
• Strong communication skills and ability to bring structure
• Possession of test devices (iOS and Android)
• Fluent oral and written communication in the Dutch language
