R&D Electrical Engineer

Project overview

A global medical device company working on a new product introduction is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support on a 12-month contract basis. You'll work with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to support the design and development of bespoke electro-mechanical equipment. The role will cover PCBA design, schematics, component selection, testing, and technical documentation.

Essential Skills Strong experience in electronic or electrical product development Hands-on electronic schematic and PCB/PCBA experience Strong hardware debugging and test capability Knowledge of system architecture and hardware/software integration Desirable Skills Experience with automation, robotics, mechatronics, or machinery systems Knowledge of safety, EMC, or relevant electrical standards This is a strong fit for engineers who want to stay close to hands-on design, early-stage development, and practical equipment build/testing.
