Project overview

Detailed description This service concerns an expertise mission in Linux systems, automation, and operational security maintenance, for a firm duration of two months starting in October 2026. The service will take place at the Liberty 2 site located in Charenton-le-Pont.

The main objective of this service is to provide operational reinforcement to the system engineering team to accelerate the security of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.

The scope of work revolves around three major areas of intervention.

The first area concerns operational maintenance, security, and vulnerability management on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat Satellite architectures. The contractor will need to analyze vulnerability reports to identify applicable patches for the server environment.

The second area is dedicated to automation and industrialization via Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform. The contractor will write, test, and deploy Ansible roles and playbooks to automate administration tasks and security remediation actions. They will integrate and execute job templates within the Ansible Automation Platform.

The third area deals with integration with virtualization, storage, and backup infrastructures. The contractor must possess and apply solid knowledge of the VMware hypervisor, as well as solid knowledge of backup solutions: Veeam, Rubrik, Scality.

The contractor must have proven expertise in advanced Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and operational mastery of Red Hat Satellite for large-scale patch management. They must also demonstrate proven experience in developing Ansible scripts and using Ansible Automation Platform.
