Reinsurance Operations – day rate contract

Project overview

Oliver James are recruiting on behalf of a UK based Life Insurer who are seeking multiple day rate contractors to support in a large-scale reinsurance project.

These are UK based day rate contracts; you must live and pay tax in the UK to be considered.

Role: building excel based cashflow models from defined benefit (DB) benefit specifications, ensuring policies are in line with their original terms.

Q4 and Jan 2026 starts can be considered

UK Based Remote/Hybrid

Required Experience:

▪️ FIA (or equivalent) – part-qualified and exam stoppers will also be considered providing you have ample industry experience

▪️ Strong understanding of DB Pension schemes

▪️ Excel Cashflow modelling (Premiums, claims, lump sums, collateral)

▪️ Reinsurance reconciliation experience

▪️ Prior experience in a similar position will be highly advantageous
