SAP CO Consultant - SAP S/4HANA Migration

Project overview

For a large client in the FMCG industry, we are looking for SAP CO consultants to join a long-term transformation project to SAP S/4HANA.

The project will be carried out using the bluefield approach and will include designing the target controlling model for several companies operating in Central and Eastern Europe.

We are open to individuals available for 0.5 FTE as well as consultants interested in full-time engagement. Those with additional competencies in SAP FI, FI-AA, Treasury, or RE-FX may cover a broader scope of the project.

Scope of Responsibilities

• analysis of the client's current controlling model,
• design of target controlling processes in SAP S/4HANA,
• configuration and development of solutions in SAP CO,
• participation in creating the target cost and management accounting model,
• conducting workshops with the controlling department and business representatives,
• analysis of SAP CO integration with financial, purchasing, sales, and production processes,
• cooperation with SAP FI, FI-AA, Treasury, RE-FX consultants and logistics and technical teams,
• preparation of functional documentation,
• support for testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live,
• participation in designing the solution for several client companies.

Requirements

For the Regular level, we expect about five years of consulting experience. Senior should have experience in independently managing the CO area, designing solutions from scratch, and making process and conceptual decisions.

• very good knowledge of SAP CO and controlling processes,
• experience in configuring SAP CO in an SAP S/4HANA environment,
• knowledge of key areas such as cost centers, internal orders, profit centers, cost calculation, or profitability analysis,
• experience in implementation or migration projects,
• good knowledge of SAP CO integration with FI and logistics modules,
• ability to conduct workshops and translate business needs into system solutions,
• very good knowledge of Polish – a mandatory requirement,
• communicative knowledge of English.

Work Model and Location

Mainly remote work. Readiness for periodic visits to the client's office in southern Poland is required, especially during the Discovery and Explore phases, workshops, migration, and go-live. Travel and accommodation costs are covered by the client.

• experience in migrating from SAP ECC,
• participation in creating a new process template,
• experience in multi-company and multi-country projects,
• experience in projects covering Central and Eastern Europe,
• additional competencies in SAP FI, FI-AA, Treasury, or RE-FX.
• estimated duration: until the beginning of 2028, with the possibility of extension,
• possible engagement: 0.5–1.0 FTE,
• possibility to start cooperation at 0.5 FTE and increase engagement in subsequent project phases or remain at 0.5 FTE for the entire cooperation period,
• full engagement from the beginning of the project is also possible,
• possibility to combine the CO scope with another financial area,
• documentation and main project communication will be conducted in Polish.
