SAP ECC PM / ABAP / PI-PO Integration Specialist — Short-Term Project

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP technical consultant to support a short-term integration project between an external Engineering Information Management (EIM) platform and SAP ECC Plant Maintenance.

Short-term, remote project, ideally delivered on a fixed-price or milestone basis.

We already have functional requirements defined and are looking for someone who can work hands on with our existing SAP team to deliver the integration quickly.

Job facts: Direct client project

• SAP ECC Plant Maintenance (PM), particularly Functional Locations
• SAP ABAP and standard BAPI functionality
• SAP PI/PO integration development
• RFC, SOAP and REST interfaces
• Functional Location hierarchy retrieval and creation
• SAP object identifiers, status management and classification
• Develop or configure an endpoint to retrieve the full SAP Functional Location hierarchy.
• Develop or configure an endpoint to create individual Functional Locations from an external system.
• Return the SAP internal Functional Location identifier as part of the creation response.
• Support activation of newly created Functional Locations.
• Implement necessary mapping, validation and error handling.
• Use standard SAP BAPIs wherever possible, minimizing custom ABAP development.
• Support integration testing and provide technical handover documentation.
