The role involves maintaining and developing SAP business processes in close collaboration with IT and business stakeholders in a global manufacturing/engineering company.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Consultant to work with our client, ensuring the stable, effective, and business-aligned operation of the SAP environment in the areas of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Quality/Repair (QM, CS), and cross-functional processes.
You will play a key role in maintaining and developing SAP business processes, working closely with IT and business stakeholders of the client in a global manufacturing/engineering company.
Scope of cooperation
- Management of Product Lifecycle processes (PLM module): master data, change management, product phase-out, product lifecycle control
- Support and optimization of repair and quality processes in SAP (QM and CS modules), in cooperation with business teams in cross-functional areas
- Maintenance and development of SAP process documentation and descriptions, ensuring knowledge is up-to-date
- Conducting activities related to IT compliance: tests, control reviews, user training, communication with business partners, external partners, and auditors
Requirements
Additional information
- Several years of experience as an SAP Consultant or Solution Consultant
- Practical experience in SAP PLM and SAP QM
- both areas are required.
- Practical knowledge of ABAP, including the ability to analyze, debug, and modify existing code, as well as develop SAP solutions.
- Ability to work at the intersection of technical and business areas
- Structured, solution-oriented work style and attention to detail
- Ability to lead projects or actively participate in them and collaborate with cross-functional partners
- Team-oriented attitude and openness
- Very good knowledge of English.
- The team is fully based in Austria, distributed.
- It will be necessary to travel to the client's site for a few days.
