Responsibilities

REQUIRED PROFILE:

Applications are handled by AP Staffing Limited, specialist SAP contract recruitment.

• Build the test strategy, the test cases and the working cadence before execution begins
• Run system integration testing, led by IT with some superuser involvement
• Keep testers moving through long end-to-end scenarios of thirty to fifty steps
• Chase blocked steps so the work downstream of them does not stall
• Push defect fixes through and get the retest done quickly
• Decide how testing will run day to day, covering war rooms, co-location and daily status reviews
• Help pick a replacement test tool, take part in the demos and arrange tester training
• Build a process repository in Excel down to level four
• Map test cases back to processes so coverage is real and not a case count
• Work across testers spread over several countries, with handoffs between them
• Test management on large SAP programmes, hands-on with execution and not reporting only
• Experience running long multi-step end-to-end scenarios across countries
• Defect management and retest coordination under time pressure
• Test tool selection and rollout, including training testers on a new tool
• Process-to-test-case mapping and coverage reporting
• Comfortable coordinating with colleagues in the US Eastern time zone and shifting hours to do it
