Assignment Description

The UPEU team is looking for a Scrum Master to strengthen several PZW (Platform Zaakgericht Werken) teams. These teams work in a SAFe environment. The field of work is mainly customer projects, specifically UPEU (Uitvoeringsplatform Europese subsidie). The location is Assen. However, the candidate is expected to be willing to travel to Utrecht and Zwolle. You will be part of a new generic team and a management team. The team builds generic Blueriq prototypes for UPEU with the associated Java services. There is also an Oracle database and several Apex applications.

The Scrum Master is expected to arrange and schedule all Scrum rituals themselves, taking into account the release train. There are possibilities for hybrid working.

Background of the assignment

Within UPEU, applications are built for processing European subsidy applications. The generic components are built and delivered to the customer (RVO) within team Phoenix. Within RVO, this software is first accepted (acceptance testing) and then used within the so-called 'regelingen' teams. Within the existing 'regelingen', the prototype versions are updated if necessary. In addition, new 'regelingen' are built on the prototypes.

Assignment is not suitable for ZZP'ers due to DBA law.

Agile Frameworks (SAFe) certification

Experience with applying Scrum Master principles (5 years)

Additional Information

When you offer a professional to us as a supplier and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid (Chain Liability Act). The 'WKA' aims to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is located in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to submit an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement about the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.
