Assignment description

For the information management department, the NVWA is looking for an additional senior developer/modeler with regard to Oracle / Apex technology to help with the (further) development of (new) facilities, registers, and administrations. This includes the development of functional Apex applications and master data, which in turn connect with other technologies (including Alfresco and Blueriq) and vice versa. This is in strong motion.

We are looking for a senior with strong analytical skills and extensive knowledge of the Oracle Stack and related matters, such as data modeling, web services (JSON, XML), Apex, PLSQL, unit testing, JavaScript, or BI Publisher. Registration in Git is leading.

As a person, you must be able to operate independently, but also be able to consult well within the assembled teams and with other Oracle colleagues. Work is done in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methods.

Background of the assignment

The NVWA is in the process of renewing its ICT landscape through a large-scale renewal project. This involves partly replacing technologies and partly componentizing the landscape. This is expected to continue until 2027.

The renewal is divided into separate incidental assignments that are scheduled depending on budget availability. Work activities within the scope of this request are part of that and have dependencies with other projects. Depending on progress and necessary deployment, assignments resulting from this advisory assignment can be carried out in parallel or sequentially in consultation.

Direct management and supervision from the NWVA is provided for this assignment.

For this assignment, the form for sham self-employment (Wet DBA) has been completed with the result: The risk of sham self-employment is significant (yellow).

Requirements

Work experience with and knowledge of programming

Completed HBO education

Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with the Oracle Stack and related matters, such as data modeling, web services (JSON, XML), Apex, PLSQL, or JavaScript.

Wishes

Experience working for a government agency

Demonstrable knowledge of data modeling and creating technical designs.

Demonstrable knowledge of Jira and Confluence, Git, unit testing using utPLSQL, and BI Publisher

Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with creating OpenAPI specifications for REST web services and connecting with other technologies.
