Senior Backend Developer at the DSO team Hecate (secondment)

Project overview

Within the Scrum team Hecate, you will work on the movement domain of the Donna system.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Designing distributed systems in collaboration with the team
• Implementing solutions according to the DevOps process, from build to monitoring in production
• Delivering agreed-upon functionality within two-week sprints
• Coordinating with stakeholders on progress and priorities
• Contributing ideas for improvement and innovation within the team
• At least 5 years of current experience in the role of developer
• Demonstrable experience with Java 17 or newer
• Knowledge of relational databases and optimizing queries
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and concepts like eventual consistency
• Experience with Spring Boot, Openshift (Kubernetes), and Jenkins/CI tooling
• Extensive experience with DevOps mindset and associated tooling
• Preferred: experience with Kotlin, Gradle, ActiveMQ, and functional programming
• Preferred: experience with Helm, Argo CD, Grafana-Loki, and Prometheus
• Preferred: knowledge of Domain Driven Design and Hexagonal Architecture
• Excellent oral and written command of the Dutch language
