About the role & project

We are developing a next-generation biometric authentication platform safeguarding millions of transactions, engineering high-end backend services capable of real-time analysis at scale. As a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js, TypeScript), you will hold full architectural ownership of mission-critical systems and directly shape the product.

While we foster an AI-driven delivery mindset, we place immense value on low-level engineering depth-knowing that true system resilience, performance, and bulletproof security demand a thorough understanding of what happens under the hood.

We follow a hybrid work model, with regular in-office syncs to stay aligned as a team.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

What you will find at Framna

• 6–8+ years of commercial experience as a backend or fullstack engineer (backend-focused)
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Solid experience with Node.js (NestJS)
• Good understanding of secure backend design principles (e.g. authentication, authorization, data protection, API security)
• Experience working with GCP or other cloud platforms
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Solid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and web communication patterns
• Experience with backend testing frameworks and testing strategies
• Experience using AI tools effectively and responsibly in day-to-day development
• Very good command of English and Polish
