Project overview

Context

COBAST aims to replace the legacy banking system with a SaaS core banking solution. The mission requires strong functional banking expertise to support business units in adopting the target solution, while contributing to the definition and validation of data necessary for reporting and the Lakehouse.

The consultant must bring in-depth knowledge of Core Banking, particularly on current accounts and loans/credits, combined with a good command of Data & Reporting issues.

Profile Priorities

• Provide functional Core Banking expertise, particularly on current accounts and loans/credits.
• Analyze banking processes: lifecycle of accounts and loans, transactions, balances, value dates, interest, fees, and key management events.
• Challenge business needs and the publisher's proposed solutions against the standard of the solution.
• Identify functional impacts and dependencies with other banking domains.
• Gather and structure Data & Reporting needs.
• Identify necessary Core Banking data and contribute to their functional modeling, mappings, calculation rules, and Data Quality controls.
• Contribute to the definition and functional validation of data intended for the Lakehouse and associated reporting.
• Contribute to the migration by functionally validating mappings, controls, and migrated data with the Migration Lead.
• Consider key regulatory and compliance issues: KYC, AML/CFT, sanctions, PEP/PPE, traceability, and auditability, in collaboration with relevant experts.
• Contribute to functional test scenarios, anomaly analysis, and support business units during acceptance/UAT phases.
• Core Banking System (functional expertise)
