Project overview

Context

We are looking for a consultant to support our client, a major Luxembourg bank, in a strategic transformation initiative aimed at replacing the current KTP treasury system with a new KBO solution, while respecting functional, technical, regulatory, and budgetary requirements.

The project covers the evolution and replacement of the existing treasury environment, including the interactions between Kondor Front Office, Kondor Back Office, and associated operational processes.

Additional information

The ideal candidate will combine solid business expertise in treasury, a good functional and technical understanding, and concrete project management experience.

It should be noted that the consultant will need to play a key support role for the Middle Office business representative, acting as the interface between business needs and IT implementation teams, while ensuring a controlled and smooth transition from the KTP to KBO solution.

• Support the business team throughout the treasury system replacement project.
• Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and functionalities of the current systems.
• Contribute to the definition, collection, and formalization of business needs.
• Perform functional analysis and reverse engineering of the existing KTP environment.
• Analyze data flows, interfaces, system configurations, and current operational processes.
• Review and challenge functional and technical specifications produced by IT.
• Evaluate proposed solutions and ensure their adequacy with business needs.
• Participate in the functional design and implementation of the new KBO solution.
• Ensure consistency between Kondor Front Office, Kondor Back Office, and the new treasury environment.
• Participate in data mapping, reconciliation, and migration activities.
• Define test strategies, prepare test scenarios and cases.
• Coordinate and execute functional, integration, and user acceptance tests (UAT).
• Analyze, document, and track detected anomalies and incidents.
• Support validation and business acceptance activities.
• Contribute to change management, user preparation, and business support.
• Prepare project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in the banking sector, treasury, or financial services.
• Proven experience in treasury system implementation, replacement, or migration projects.
• Solid knowledge of Middle Office activities and treasury operations.
• Good command of Kondor Front Office and Kondor Back Office.
• Practical experience with KTP and KBO solutions.
• Excellent command of SQL and ability to analyze and investigate data.
• Demonstrated experience in reverse engineering existing applications, processes, and data flows.
• Good understanding of treasury products, operational processes, and associated controls.
• Strong functional analysis and business requirements gathering skills.
• Good understanding of the entire project lifecycle: design, specifications, testing, UAT, and go-live.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with business and IT teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, structured, and results-oriented approach.
• Ability to challenge existing processes and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Any additional language will be considered an asset.
