For the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch, we are looking for a Senior Civil Engineering Preparer within the Project Management & Preparation department of the Urban Management sector.

The Municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch is looking for a Senior Civil Engineering Preparer who contributes to a sustainable and future-proof public space. As a senior preparer, you play an important role in various civil engineering projects, ranging from redesigning historical locations to developing new residential areas and public spaces such as roads, roundabouts, and parks. You are responsible for the technical preparation and elaboration of projects and work closely with project leaders, designers, and other involved disciplines.

Preparing:

As a Senior Civil Engineering Preparer, you are part of the Project Management & Preparation Department of the Urban Management sector. In this department, you will work in the Preparation team with twelve other preparers (civil and cultural engineering) and cost experts.

• Specifically, the Senior Civil Engineering Preparer is responsible for:
• Elaborating and developing design drawings for public spaces
• Guiding the technical process from sketch design to final design and tendering
• RAW specifications
• Integrated contracts
• Framework agreements
• Technical descriptions
• Notes of clarification
• Preparing quantity determinations, material lists, and technical specifications
• Supporting the planned management and execution of operational plans
• Performing management reviews

• 36 hours constitute a full-time workweek;

• The duration of the request is 5 working days, after which the shortlist will be sent to the Municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch;
• If the candidate is allowed to start at the client, a pre-employment screening will take place. We will send you the necessary documents for this via the Portal at that time. Your candidate may only start after completion of the pre-employment screening;
