Job Description Senior Cloud Orchestration Engineer Responsibilities: Design, configuration & management and further development of the Cloud Orchestrator (HPE Morpheus Enterprise S/W) and the Morpheus IT Infra requirements. Programming for and managing Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code for the automated generation of Morpheus instantiations and configurations. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with Morpheus and Integrations with IT Infra requirements. Ensuring security implementation (Techspecs/CIS/STIG) and compliance with best practices for Cloud Orchestration.

Executing and maintaining Test and Acceptance Management. Documenting and maintaining configurations (Configuration Dossier, Management Dossier, Security Dossier) and procedures. Important for this assignment: Minimum 3 years of experience with Linux System Administration. Strong knowledge of Cloud Management. Experience with Ansible scripting (Playbooks). Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Gitlab, Python, Terraform and RESTAPI). Experience with virtualization and orchestration (e.g., Nutanix Cloud Clustering / Morpheus or similar e.g. AWS / Azure).

Strong knowledge of network protocols and security principles. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and team spirit. Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience in a cloud environment. Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience within enterprise environments (>5,000 employees).

Candidate availability 32-40 hours per week Background assignment Job description: For the Realization and future Management of the 'Grensverleggende IT' program, particularly the Private Cloud Platform (PCP), we are looking for several experienced and driven Cloud Orchestration Engineers to strengthen our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, configuration & management, and further development of the Cloud Orchestrator (HPE Morpheus Enterprise S/W) and the Morpheus IT Infra requirements.

The focus here is on cloud technologies, but it also includes several functional areas such as Networking, Storage, Back-up & Recovery, as well as the RHEL Operating System, programming for Infrastructure as Code with Configuration as Code, Terraform, and Virtualization based on Nutanix.

You will work closely with other management and development teams such as Networking, Nutanix Virtualisation, Operating Systems, DNS-DHCP-IP Mgmt, Active Directory Services, ServiceNow (ITSM), and Ansible Automation Platform to ensure that Morpheus Cloud Orchestrator operates optimally and that the derivable cloud services such as VMs, Container Infra, Networking, and Storage Services are automatically provisioned, secure, reliable, and with optimal performance.

Generic description competence area and levels Following predefined general practice standards, performs planned necessary interventions to implement a solution, including installing, upgrading, or decommissioning. Configures hardware, software, or networks to ensure interoperability of system components and debugs any resulting errors or incompatibilities. Utilizes additional specialized resources as needed, such as external network providers.

Formally hands over the fully operational solution to the user and completes documentation that records all relevant information, including equipment addresses, configuration, and performance data. This is a European standard for describing IT competencies and the associated level of responsibility. The eCF profile indicates which competencies and at what level (e-1 to e-5) are expected from the candidate. We expect candidates to clearly demonstrate in their CV that they possess these competencies.

This can be done by describing for each relevant assignment or position: the role the candidate fulfilled the tasks and responsibilities involved the extent to which these align with the requested eCF competencies and the level CVs in which the requested eCF competencies are not demonstrably present cannot be fully assessed for suitability. Candidate has at least 4 years of demonstrable work experience with the chosen eCF profile similar role. Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience in a cloud environment. Candidate has demonstrable work experience with DevSecOps (DevOps). Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience with Linux System Administration.
