Senior Connected Systems / IoT Engineer

Project overview

Context of the mission:

As part of the development and evolution of connected solutions, we are looking for a Senior Connected Systems / IoT Engineer to work on the design, integration, and industrialization of solutions combining hardware components, software, and IT infrastructures.

The consultant will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the solutions, from defining needs and technical design to their integration, validation, and production. They will also play a coordination role between the different technical teams and any involved suppliers.

We are looking for an experienced profile, ideally from large industrial environments or large organizations, accustomed to working with structured processes, established methodologies, and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

-Gather and formalize functional and technical requirements in collaboration with platform managers and business teams.

-Participate in the definition of the architecture and co-design of IoT solutions, integrating the various hardware, software, and system components.

-Lead and coordinate integration activities between different components and related systems.

-Organize and carry out end-to-end validation and testing phases to ensure the proper functioning of the solution.

-Coordinate the various technical stakeholders and monitor the contributions of specialized teams.

-Participate in activity planning, subject prioritization, and progress monitoring.

-Ensure technical relations with suppliers and partners involved in the scope.

-Contribute to the optimization and rationalization of solutions with a focus on quality, costs, deadlines, and performance (SQCD).

-Participate in monitoring the industrialization, production, deployment, and operation of the solutions.

-Contribute to intellectual property certification and protection processes for products.

-Ensure the quality of service, reliability, and sustainability of the deployed systems.

Expected profile:

We are looking for a senior profile with solid experience in systems engineering, integration, or connected systems.

The candidate must be able to take a step back from architectures, understand the interactions between the different components of an IoT solution, and ensure effective coordination of technical stakeholders.

Experience gained within large industrial groups or large structures is particularly appreciated, especially for mastering the processes, methodologies, and constraints related to complex environments.

The integration and coordination dimension is central to this mission, with a strong technical component and knowledge of IoT environments.
