We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Architect to join the Technology Transformation area of a leading banking organisation in Madrid.

The ideal candidate will combine strong Cloud Architecture expertise with a hands-on DevOps mindset, with proven experience across Azure and Google Cloud environments. You will have a strong understanding of the application lifecycle and modern software delivery practices, with particular experience working with Jenkins and Artifactory.

Key Responsibilities

Design and support scalable, secure and resilient cloud and DevOps architectures across Azure and Google Cloud.

Define and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation and software delivery processes.

Work extensively with Jenkins and Artifactory to support build, deployment and artefact management.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security and architecture teams throughout the application lifecycle.

Promote DevOps principles, automation and continuous improvement across the technology landscape.

Contribute to the organisation's wider Technology Transformation programme.

Identify opportunities to improve deployment efficiency, reliability and operational performance.

Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security and banking industry requirements.

Essential Experience

Senior-level experience as a DevOps Architect, Cloud Architect or similar.

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Proven experience with Jenkins and JFrog Artifactory.

Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation and DevOps practices.

Good knowledge of the end-to-end application lifecycle.

Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions and modern delivery pipelines.

Ability to work proactively with multiple technical and business stakeholders.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Cloud Architect with a strong DevOps approach to play a key role in a major Technology Transformation programme within the banking sector.

The role is primarily remote, offering flexibility while being based in Madrid, with occasional office attendance when required.

Contract: 1 year
