Senior DevOps Engineer (interim)

Project overview

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Design, configure, and further develop the Cloud Orchestrator (HPE Morpheus Enterprise)
• Automate infrastructure and configurations via Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code
• Resolve technical issues with Morpheus and linked IT infrastructure
• Ensure security in accordance with Techspecs/CIS/STIG and best practices for cloud orchestration
• Execute and maintain test and acceptance management
• Document and maintain configuration, management, and security files
• Collaborate with teams such as Networking, Nutanix Virtualisation, Operating Systems, and Ansible Automation Platform
• Minimum 4 years of demonstrable work experience in a comparable DevOps role
• Minimum 1 year of practical experience working within a cloud environment
• Minimum 2 years of work experience within enterprise organizations with more than 5,000 employees
• Demonstrable experience with DevSecOps
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Linux System Administration
• Thorough knowledge of cloud management
• Experience with writing Ansible scripts (Playbooks)
• Experience with scripting and automation, such as Gitlab, Python, Terraform, and RESTAPI
• Experience with virtualization and orchestration, for example Nutanix or AWS/Azure
• Thorough knowledge of network protocols and security principles
