Interim Senior Financial Controller needed for the business gas market to ensure accurate financial reporting, perform month-end close activities, and drive process improvements.
Project overview
As Senior Financial Controller, you ensure a correct, complete, and timely month-end closing within the business gas market.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Explaining margins, revenue, costs, and volumes based on underlying data
- Monitoring the quality, completeness, and timeliness of financial information
- Translating finance issues into analyses, reports, and requirements
- Identifying and analyzing ambiguities during the month-end closing and ensuring follow-up
- Contributing to the year-end closing 2026 and handling associated issues
- Identifying and initiating improvements and automation within finance and reporting
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in a comparable role
- Dutch as a native language
- 3 to 5 years of experience with month-end closings
- Relevant experience with financial reporting, month-end closings, and balance sheet and P&L analyses
- Skill in booking financial transactions within SAP
- Extensive experience with Excel
- Experience with the business market and the energy sector as a plus
- Experience with Power BI as a plus
- Well-developed analytical insight, supplemented with experience in data analysis and reporting
