Senior Frontend Developer (Vue.js + Next.js)

About the Offer

We are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join the team of a German digital bank. The project is delivered together with a large international IT services company. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.

You will develop the bank's core digital customer onboarding platform, which runs end-to-end account opening journeys: automated verification, multi-step applicant scoring and integrations with external risk, compliance and identity providers (e.g. Pega workflows and biometric KYC services).

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the bank's customer onboarding platform using Vue.js, Next.js and TypeScript
• Build complex, state-driven multi-step forms and asynchronous user journeys
• Refactor and improve workflows so they gracefully handle third-party service latency, outages and timeouts
• Build asynchronous fallback and retry mechanisms that remove user-facing errors and keep application state consistent

Requirements

Recruitment Process:

• 5–7 years of commercial experience as a Senior Frontend Developer
• Hands-on commercial experience with both Vue.js and Next.js
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript
• A track record of building complex multi-step forms and asynchronous user journeys
• Fluent English
• 2 interviews
• The selected candidate will go through a one-time online identity check (government-issued photo ID) before starting

Project details

• Rate: 125–130 PLN/h (B2B)
• Work Model: 100% remote from Poland, full-time. Occasional travel to Germany is very rare and in almost all cases optional
• Location: you must live in Poland
• Start: mid-November / early December 2026
• Contract: first contract until 31.12.2026, with a likely extension until the end of 2027
• Time off: the client may require up to 10 days of unpaid Mandatory Time Away per year, usually over the Christmas break
