Opportunity Overview

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will design and build a modern web application on Azure, working across Python backend services and React frontend. Beyond hands-on engineering, you’ll guide both the client and the team, shaping technical direction and helping everyone move toward a shared goal.

Your Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Designing and building a production-grade web application across the full stack, with Python backend services and a React frontend.
• Leading the technical design and architecture of the solution on Azure.
• Implementing secure authentication and authorization with OAuth 2.0, including the On-Behalf-Of (OBO) flow for calling downstream APIs.
• Guiding the client through requirements, solution options, and technical decisions, acting as a trusted technical partner.
• Leading and supporting the team in delivering the application, setting priorities, and keeping work aligned with client goals.
• Driving engineering best practices: code quality, testing, security, documentation, and CI/CD.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring other engineers.
• Proposing improvements and innovations to the product and its architecture.
• 5+ years of commercial experience as a fullstack or software engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development and API design.
• Strong proficiency in React and modern frontend development (ideally with TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications on Azure.
• Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, including the On-Behalf-Of (OBO) flow and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Leadership skills: the ability to guide the client and the team, take initiative, and drive the project toward its goals.
• Excellent communication skills, especially with clients and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong ownership mindset, self-reliance, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Fluent English communication, able to collaborate effectively across international teams.

• Experience with Power BI integration (e.g. Power BI Embedded) and its security model (e.g. row-level security).
• Experience with Databricks Apps.
• Experience with agentic AI, AI agents, or LLM-based solutions.
