Senior Functional Analyst

Project overview

As a Senior Functional Analyst, you are responsible for analyzing the needs of all stakeholders, both internal and external. You translate these needs into functional and technical specifications for the applications. You collaborate closely with IT teams, other business units, and with representatives of railway companies.

• Needs analysis: identify and document business needs and requirements using various methods.
• Process optimization: analyze existing processes and propose improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Functional specifications: develop detailed functional specifications and define requirements.
• Data model definition: determine the most appropriate data structure based on stakeholder needs.
• Collaboration with the development team: work closely with developers to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements.
• Testing and validation: develop test cases and scenarios, then execute tests to verify the proper functioning of the application and its compliance with defined requirements.
• Impact analysis: analyze impacts based on business requirements.
• Demonstrable experience in writing functional and technical documents (work instructions, user guides).
• Knowledge of the railway sector.
• Knowledge of billing applications.
