The position

As a Senior HPC Linux Consultant, you will work with our clients within the Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for the performance and reliability of high-performance computing environments serving the Research, Trading, and Enterprise teams. A dynamic and demanding environment that requires perfect technical mastery combined with careful communication.

Your missions

Lead the modernization and migration of core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, TFTP, PXE)

Design and specify next-generation server platforms

Develop storage services to support growing performance and capacity needs

Modernize and evolve the internal HPC infrastructure

Ensure effective technical communication with external suppliers

Coordinate projects, deployments, and evolutions with the client's internal teams

Guarantee the availability and performance of the infrastructure for Research, Trading, and Enterprise

Profile sought

HPC and Workload Managers experience, particularly Slurm

Advanced Linux administration expertise: performance tuning, high-level troubleshooting, RHEL 9, on-prem

Solid understanding of server hardware: firmware, monitoring, test scripts, automation of provisioning and lifecycle

Mastery of core infrastructure services: DNS, DHCP, TFTP, PXE, LDAP

Scripting and tooling: Bash, Python, tool development, open-source packaging, automation of recurring tasks

Strong conviction for Infrastructure as Code: Puppet, Ansible, reproducibility, industrialization, and documentation

Fluent English

Package

Permanent contract (CDI): from €80,000 gross annual salary, depending on profile

Freelance: Daily rate aligned with the top of the market, long-term mission (12 months renewable)

Mission based in Paris, occasional remote work
