• Standardized implementation of software and its interfacing with other infrastructure systems, in partnership with other departments and suppliers.
• Technical coordination of software releases and their quality and security monitoring.
• Provide technical expertise support to a product team, within the framework of projects and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the integration team to integrate and configure a business application on DEV, REC, and PROD environments.

• Bachelor's degree (HES).
• 10 years or more of experience in the role.
• Specialist in the implementation of market business software (on premise and SaaS).
• Proven experience in supplier management.
• Technical coordination and facilitation of multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven experience in incident and problem management.
• Awareness of software quality and existing standards, particularly the implementation of unit tests and application security.
• Mastery of standardized integration processes for market software (phases and associated deliverables).
• Proven experience in expressing technical prerequisites for market software integration (authentication, interoperability, security, etc.).
• At least 10 years of experience in IT, particularly as a technical lead.
• Knowledge of Windows / Linux, networks, firewalls, log analysis, and reverse proxy.
• Knowledge of application servers and databases.
• Good skills in deployment automation (Ansible, GoCD, GitLab).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Agile and ITIL methodologies.
• Definition of quality plans along 3 axes: obsolescence, security, and testability.
• Coordination of technical teams for the standardized implementation of market software.
• Quality control of supplier deliveries.
• Anticipation of new standards and continuous training.
• Identification of quality and security risks on the application portfolio.
• Proposal of solutions for cross-functional interfacing challenges of market software.
• Contribution to the rationalization of existing software.
• Contribution to improving the efficiency of internal teams around market software.

Job Description and Context:

We are looking for a client, a public administration in Geneva, a senior IT engineer with at least 10 years of experience to strengthen the technical expert team of its sector responsible for market business software.

This sector is responsible for several hundred applications. It ensures the standardized implementation of market software and its interfacing with other systems, technically coordinates their releases while ensuring quality and security monitoring, and disseminates and capitalizes internal knowledge about this software.
