Senior IT Project Manager – Migration of Collaborative and Project Management Tools (M/F)

Project overview

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager (M/F) to lead a project migrating collaborative and project management tools.

The mission consists of replacing an existing suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, and Xray) with new solutions (Planisware, XWiki, and Squash TM). The consultant will manage the functional and technical transition, from pilot scoping to deployment, ensuring the recovery of historical data, service continuity, and adoption of the new tools.

• Lead the migration project from end to end: scoping, governance, planning, budget monitoring, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Map existing uses and define target processes, workflows, and organizational models adapted to the new tools.
• Define the data migration strategy: recovery scope, archiving, cleaning, and prior purging.
• Coordinate the technical work of extracting, transforming, and importing data into Planisware, XWiki, and Squash TM.
• Organize migration acceptance testing to verify data integrity, ticket and test traceability, and access rights compliance.
• Lead the deployment of the pilot in production and support business teams in their migration phases.
• Define the service and user support arrangements during and after the migration.
• Organize communication, training, and post-deployment support.
• Project plan and governance documents.
• Mapping of existing uses and definition of target processes.
• Data migration and recovery strategy.
• Test protocols and migration acceptance test results.
• Communication plan, training program, and user guides.
• Service contract for supporting business teams during and after the migration.
• More than 9 years of experience in managing or leading complex IT projects.
• Proven experience in projects migrating collaborative tools, project management, or test management tools.
• In-depth mastery of Jira, Confluence, and Xray: workflows, permissions, documentation spaces, and links between requirements and tests.
• Proven experience with Planisware and mastery of Squash TM, particularly in test management and requirements traceability.
• Experience in migrating historical data between applications, including data integrity, transformation, and access rights management.
• XWiki, with migration experience from Confluence appreciated.
• REST API.
• JSON, CSV, and XML exchange formats.
• Databases and extraction, transformation, and import mechanisms.
• Migration scripts and connectors.
• Macro development and tool customization: appreciated skills.
