Project overview
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a fintech project focused on scalable backend systems, data integration, and event-driven architecture. The role involves developing Java / Spring Boot microservices and working with data streaming and/or Data Warehouse solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and support microservices and event-driven solutions.
- Work with messaging and data streaming tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
- Contribute to data integration, CDC, ETL/ELT, and/or DWH-related initiatives.
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or similar.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, DevOps, and business teams.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience with microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging/streaming technologies.
- Experience with data streaming and/or Data Warehouse / DWH projects.
- Good knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or similar).
- Fluent in English.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in fintech, banking, or financial systems.
