Project overview
This contract role is based in Krakow and sits in a small pod of 4–6 developers within the Client Onboarding function, working on a Periodic KYC reviews application and regulatory and business improvements. The core technical requirements are hands-on Java, Spring/Spring Boot and Kafka development, alongside Agile, TDD and DevOps practices; strong communication, collaboration and analytical problem-solving are also specified. Microservices and Agentic AI are listed as additional skills, and a Computer Science degree is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Analyze, understand the current technical architecture of the existing application
- Develop / modernize application stack with the latest frameworks
- Work within a small pod of 4 to 6 developers
- demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs
- Preferably Computer Science (Bachelor or Master’s degree)
- Minimum of 12 years of hands on design and development experience in Java, Spring, Kafka
- Core skills: Java, Spring / Springboot
- Additional Skills: Microservices, Agentic AI
