Senior Middleware Infrastructure Engineer

Project overview

As part of strengthening our Infrastructure teams, we are looking for a Senior Middleware Infrastructure Engineer with solid expertise in application servers and Middleware environments.

You will work on various technical environments to ensure their availability, performance, security, and operational maintenance. You will also be involved in complex production issues and contribute to infrastructure evolution.

• Ensure technical expertise and administration of Middleware application servers.
• Design, install, configure, and evolve technical platforms.
• Guarantee operational maintenance (MCO) and infrastructure optimization.
• Intervene at level 3 on complex incidents and production issues.
• Perform in-depth diagnostics, identify root causes, and propose corrective solutions.
• Define and implement best practices for operations, performance, and security.
• Participate in the design and evolution of Middleware technical architectures.
• Automate installation and administration operations using Ansible.
• Coordinate various technical stakeholders (systems, networks, security, and production).
• Provide advice, assistance, and skills transfer to teams.
• Produce technical documentation and maintain technological watch.
• JBoss: indispensable expertise.
• IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• IBM HTTP Server (IHS).
• Apache Tomcat.
• Microsoft IIS / ARR (Application Request Routing).
• Ansible: automation and industrialization.
• XL Deploy: application deployment.
• Jira: activity and incident tracking.
• Higher education in IT or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Middleware Infrastructure engineering.
• Advanced expertise on JBoss, indispensable for this mission.
• Good command of IIS, WAS, and Tomcat application servers.
• Experience in installation, configuration, administration, and optimization of Middleware environments.
• Mastery of production issues, MCO, and complex incident resolution (N3).
• Good knowledge of automation tools, particularly Ansible.
• Ability to intervene in complex technical environments and collaborate with different IT teams.
