Senior Platform Engineer / DevEx (.NET, Azure, CI/CD) – Freelance – Bordeaux

Project overview

We are looking for a senior Platform Engineer for one of our clients. This client is the digital subsidiary of a large international group, with around 120 IT staff in Bordeaux and software solutions deployed in 18 countries.

The client is building a composable software platform shared by several product teams. You will join a team that provides the engineering environment and tools to build, test, and deliver software at scale for all teams.

Your missions

Technical environment

GitHub / GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Kustomize, Terraform, Azure, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, Trivy, Datadog / Grafana / Prometheus, .NET Core / C#, TypeScript, GitHub Copilot

• Design and evolve shared CI/CD pipelines: reusable templates, build, test, and deployment standards
• Build "golden paths" for development teams: project starters, reference patterns, developer workstation tooling
• Integrate quality and security into the delivery chain (code analysis, vulnerability scanning, artifact management)
• Participate in the migration to GitHub and the standardization of practices between teams
• Ensure chain monitoring (monitoring, incidents, root cause analysis)
• Document, support teams, and share best practices with more junior profiles
• Work with architects and senior engineers on technical choices
