Senior Project Manager – Digital Payments & PCI-DSS

Project overview

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the modernization of the digital payment ecosystem within an organization in the public transport sector.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the modernization of the digital payment ecosystem
• Guide the procurement and implementation of new acquiring and PSP services
• Lead compliance and certification processes, including PCI-DSS
• Coordinate cross-functional teams within an agile methodology
• Define the target architecture for payment flows
• Monitor risks, dependencies, budgets, and schedules
• Prepare tender documents and technical specifications
• Minimum 8 years of experience with complex project management in regulated environments
• Minimum 3 years of specialized expertise in electronic payments, such as PSP, acquiring, and monetics
• Experience with Agile methodologies and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• Native Dutch or French speaker with professional proficiency in English
• Demonstrable experience with PCI-DSS compliance projects or similar payment security initiatives
• Experience with public tenders, including drafting RFP specifications and managing tender processes
• Strong supplier relationship management skills, particularly with IT and payment service providers
• Advanced skills in budget management and risk and dependency management
• PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certification is a plus
• Knowledge of Account Based Ticketing or EMV payment systems is a plus
• Experience with test management for payment solutions is a plus
