Project overview

Context

Position: Senior Quality Analyst. Long-term mission, based in Lille (hybrid). The product team designs and develops a global transactional engine for an internal checkout solution. The strategic objective is to build a modern, sovereign, and entirely internal checkout solution, ensuring the reliability of physical checkouts via a hybrid architecture (Quarkus, cloud microservices, Kafka).

Working Conditions

• Ensure compliance with and continuous improvement of the test strategy.
• Support developers on best practices for automation and coverage.
• Pilot hardware/checkout tests during the weekly release train.
• Maintain the robustness and integrity of the test pyramid: limit flakiness and monitor CI/CD metrics.
• Shift-Left Testing: participate in refinements, challenge business rules, and contribute to writing BDD/Gherkin scenarios.
• Help design relevant and maintainable integration and E2E tests.
• Define Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) criteria.
• Release Candidate Validation: organize and execute tests to validate the release candidate on a physical checkout.
• Enrich the exploratory and/or non-automatable test plan (via Allure Report).
• Give the "Go / No-Go" for production deployment in agreement with the Product Manager and Engineering Lead.
• E2E / Frontend: Playwright (TypeScript)
• Backend / API / Kafka: Java, Cucumber, framework (Tzatziki), Kafka, REST
• CI/CD & Infra: GitHub Actions, Docker, ephemeral environments
• Methodology: Scrum / Kanban, BDD approach, Shift-Left Testing, Allure Report
