Assignment Description

We are looking for a senior Quality Engineering & AI Test Lead for an assignment focusing on AI-accelerated system development and the development of testing and quality assurance.

The role combines strategic responsibility with practical work. You will act as an expert in testing and Quality Engineering, support pilot teams hands-on, and contribute to developing and scaling AI-supported ways of working throughout the development process. At the same time, you will have a coordinating responsibility for the test area and work to create structure, direction, and progress across multiple teams and functions.

The assignment includes identifying how AI can be used in testing and quality assurance, supporting experiments and implementation, and developing ways of working in areas such as test automation, test data, test environments, and quality analysis. You will capture lessons learned from pilots and contribute to common and scalable ways of working.

You will also work on creating a clear picture of the current situation, needs, and prioritized development areas within testing and Quality Engineering, as well as clarifying responsibilities between common functions and delivery teams. The role does not involve personnel responsibility but is based on expert leadership, coordination, and influence.

• You have senior experience in Quality Engineering, test strategy, and quality assurance in large and complex IT environments.
• You have a deep understanding of the entire SDLC and how quality is built into the development process.
• You have practical experience with AI/Generative AI in software testing and Quality Engineering.
• You have a good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and modern development environments.
• You have experience in developing or transforming test and QA ways of working across multiple teams.
• You have the ability to combine a strategic perspective with hands-on work.
• You have documented ability to lead through expertise and influence without formal authority.
• You have experience with coding or scripting.
• You have experience with large enterprise and integration landscapes.
• You have experience establishing or leading communities of practice within Quality Engineering.
