Senior Security Engineer

Project overview

Context

Need for a permanent Senior Security Engineer position for a large professional federation in Belgium. The need combines the operational management of security solutions and evolution projects to strengthen these systems.

Missions

◦ Analyze and define security requirements

◦ Configure, support, and maintain security tools

◦ Defend systems against unauthorized access

◦ Manage identity components, user accounts, and provisioning processes

◦ Implement and maintain access management components

◦ Monitor security systems and improve observability

◦ Develop security procedures and formulate policy recommendations

◦ Provide technical security advice, with expertise in OAuth and OpenID Connect

◦ Advise employees, managers, and executives on security best practices

◦ Support employee awareness of security procedures

◦ Train employees on security procedures

Working Conditions

• Ensure the reliable daily operation of security solutions
• Manage identity and access components
• Improve security visibility and procedures
• Provide security advice and awareness
• Operational and hands-on role, combining daily security responsibilities and improvement projects.
• Role focused on technical advice, with adaptation of recommendations to different audiences.
• 2-round interviews: a first with Team Lead and HR via Teams, then a second technical interview on-site with the N+2.
• Presence of 2 days per week at the office and up to 3 days per week of remote work.
• ASAP start
• End of mission on 12/31/2026 with an extension in 2027.
