Security Clearance: Active SC clearance is mandatory

We are looking for an experienced Senior Service Designer with active SC clearance to support the design and delivery of complex digital services within a large public-sector transformation programme.

You will work across the full product delivery lifecycle, from Discovery through to deployment, helping teams understand unmet user needs and translate research and evidence into effective end-to-end services.

• Significant experience as a Senior Service Designer delivering complex digital services.
• Strong end-to-end Service Design experience, from Discovery through to delivery/deployment.
• Excellent knowledge of user-centred, evidence-based and iterative design.
• Strong experience with journey mapping and service mapping.
• Demonstrable experience facilitating workshops involving complex stakeholder groups.
• Ability to analyse user needs, research and business objectives and translate these into design recommendations.
• Experience creating and testing design concepts and prototypes.
• Strong strategic design capability, including supporting scoping, roadmaps and prioritisation.
• Experience working in Agile multidisciplinary teams.
• Central government/wider public-sector Service Design experience.
• Knowledge of GDS/Government Digital and Data standards and ways of working.
• Experience within justice, security, intelligence or another complex/regulated environment.
• Experience supporting service assessments and governance processes.
