Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tester to expand team GTMx. Together with colleagues, you will work on the entire development process, from refinement and impact analysis to testing, delivering, and demonstrating new functionalities.

As a Senior Tester, you are responsible for setting up, executing, and maintaining functional tests and test automation. You play an important role in monitoring and continuously improving the quality of our services. You are used to critically examining processes, functionalities, and risks and know how to communicate findings constructively. You are also a point of contact for colleagues and can actively transfer your knowledge within the team. You are broadly deployable and have extensive experience in the testing profession.

We expect you to be familiar with Robot Framework, test automation, functional testing, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and working within an Agile/Scrum and DevOps environment. Experience with JMeter, CI/CD processes, and tooling such as Git, Jira, and Confluence is a plus.

We work within SAFe according to an Agile methodology, within a scrum team, with User Stories, Epics, and Features. We are looking for someone who functions well within a scrum team and actively contributes to the Agile way of working.

Background of the assignment

You will work in the Interaction Online department, part of the IV Generic Provisions directorate of the Tax Administration. The Interaction Online department develops and manages the information systems that enable digital interaction between the Tax Administration and citizens, businesses, and intermediaries. The department works according to the SAFe methodology and consists of over 30 scrum teams, divided across five Agile Release Trains (ARTs). These teams are responsible for developing, managing, and further developing the online services of the Tax Administration.

This includes digital forms, portals, and generic provisions for access and identity management.

This assignment is within the Complicates Subsystems (CSS) ART, in the Generiek ToegangsManagement (GTMx) team. This team works in two scrum teams on generic solutions for access management, playing an important role in the digital services of the Tax Administration. The team works hybrid. Tuesday is the fixed office day when the team gathers at the work location in Apeldoorn. Additionally, a two-day PI event takes place every quarter, for which your presence is expected.

Requirements

Additional Information

When you, as a supplier, offer a professional to us and they are placed, we need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid). The 'WKA' aims to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients through a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Administration.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have a SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is located in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Administration. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof from the Tax Administration), you also have the option to submit an accountants' statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement about the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.

• ISTQB Foundation, Advanced Test Analyst or comparable

• Knowledge of JMeter for performance and load testing is a plus.
