You are the expert in test management and test automation. You know how to convey your experience and guide the management and development teams in the change process.

Your role

Our organization uses Oracle Fusion as its financial administrative platform for business operations. Oracle releases new cloud updates every quarter, making regression testing, impact analysis, and quality assurance crucial within our development and management organization. Currently, Tricentis Tosca is used for test automation. However, there is a need for a fundamental re-evaluation of the test strategy, test approach, and test landscape. The assignment explicitly focuses not only on optimizing the current tooling but also on researching and implementing the most effective test approach.

Furthermore, the candidate must structurally implement improvements within the DevOps teams, with the goal of increasing quality, shortening lead times, and substantially reducing the management burden of testing.

As a Test Transformation Lead, you can think strategically and execute operationally; you are a self-starter who operates independently. You are capable of taking the organization along in the change through your strong advisory skills. Content-wise, you are the expert and you are able to communicate effectively to convince both management and DevOps teams. You are goal-oriented through pragmatic implementation and demonstrable results.

The department

The mentioned DevOps teams are part of the CRI team, which consists of over 50 employees who perform functional and technical management for Oracle Applications (Oracle EBS) and APRO (Payment Traffic and Imaging). The CRI team supports all clusters of the Municipality of Rotterdam that use these applications. In addition to management, the department actively participates in changes to ensure the software works optimally for the Municipality of Rotterdam together with the organization.

• You have a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
• You have at least 5 years of work experience in test management and test automation.
• You have at least 2 years of work experience with Oracle Fusion modules in the past 5 years.
• You have led at least 1 test transformation as a lead within a SaaS and PaaS environment.
• You have at least 2 years of work experience guiding change processes within management and development teams in the past 5 years.
• You have work experience with the DevOps test cycle.
• You have work experience with CI/CD integrations.
• You have work experience with automated (regression) testing.
• You have at least 1 year of work experience within the public sector, gained in the past 5 years.
• You have work experience with Oracle Cloud Test Automation solutions.
• You have TMAP or ISTQB Advanced certification.
• You have SAFE Agile or comparable Agile certifications.
