Senior Traffic Advisor

Project overview

As a senior traffic advisor, you are the substantive point of contact for traffic engineering issues within the organization.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Answering questions, notifications, and complaints from residents about traffic
• Acting as a substantive sparring partner for fellow traffic employees and sharing knowledge within the team
• Drafting and assessing traffic decisions and handling applications for permits and parking permits
• Advising on traffic and traffic safety within projects and assessing traffic plans
• Monitoring and improving the quality of traffic engineering products, advice, and work processes
• Maintaining contact with residents, administrators, police, and emergency services
• Checking in the field whether signage, markings, and wayfinding are correct
• HBO diploma, preferably in the direction of traffic engineering, mobility, spatial planning, or civil engineering
• At least 5 years of work experience in the field of traffic and mobility, preferably within a municipal organization
• Familiarity with laws and regulations regarding traffic, traffic safety, and traffic decisions
