Jobbeschreibung
Seeking an experienced UX Researcher and Designer to lead end-to-end UX research projects for a new data accounting product. The role involves translating user needs and research insights into actionable requirements and designs, working closely with development teams.
Project overview
The candidate has at least 3 years of demonstrable and proven experience in a combined UX/Product Design role within complex digital products.
Background, context, reason for hiring and/or objective of the assignment
The Data Accounting system is currently being further developed into a production-ready version (MVP). Software development takes place using design thinking aspects and principles. As a UX Researcher and Designer, you play a crucial role in leading and executing end-to-end UX research projects, including defining research goals, selecting methods, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting it to stakeholders. Since Data Accounting is a new concept within data management, it is important to have solid knowledge and experience with data management in the broadest sense.
It is not always possible to gather input through end-to-end UX research projects; in such cases, the right path must be devised using your own insights and presented to various stakeholders. Together with the team, you will help integrate these results into the design and development process.
We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher and Designer to help us identify opportunities for UX research based on objectives and user needs. You will develop personas, customer journey maps, and other tools to increase understanding of user needs and share them with stakeholders and within the team. You are aware of the latest developments in UX research and contribute to the continuous improvement of research processes and methodologies. Additionally, you have experience with UX design and the ability to translate design concepts into concrete prototypes and test them with users.
Requested activities or performance objectives (any tasks and responsibilities)
The candidate is capable of translating insights from user research, processes, and UX/UI design into concrete and implementable requirements for the development team. The candidate elaborates functionalities into user stories, scenarios, and acceptance criteria and has experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD). The candidate works closely with frontend and backend developers to refine requirements and ensure a shared understanding of the desired functionalities.
Finally, you must be able to flexibly adapt to choices that will be made based on acquired experience. Because we are building new software, we assume a lot of collaboration, and therefore we require physical presence on location (Utrecht) in principle.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as the Team Lead, Frontend and Backend developers, and the product team to elevate the product. Additionally, you will broadly contribute to the design of the Data Accounting system in line with the JenV Agreements on Data and Algorithms.
