Project overview

We are looking for a Senior Workplace Specialist for a Virtual Environment at SSC-ICT, based on 36 hours per week.

Tasks and Result Areas

Background Assignment

The ART DWR virtual environment team consists of approximately 14 specialists. These are well-trained 3rd line specialists with in-depth knowledge of their field (Microsoft MECM, Citrix, Ivanti, and Mobility). For the Citrix cluster, we are looking for a Senior Workplace Specialist Virtual Environment who has experience with enterprise and cloud infrastructures to support our Citrix infrastructure and make the relationship with other technical services transparent. In addition to line work, you can be partially available for project work.

Competencies

• Monthly updates of the Citrix environment throughout the entire service area.
• Maintaining images on both persistent (MCS) and non-persistent (PVS) environments.
• Modifying task sequences, group policies, app-publishing.
• Realizing customer requests and participating in projects.
• Handling 3rd line calls in collaboration with Operations regarding Citrix.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Windows Server 2016 and/or higher.
• In possession of a Citrix Certificate Professional and Virtualization (CCP-V) certification.
• This position is not suitable for freelancers.
• Experience with Windows 10 and 11.
• Experience with Ivanti Workspace Control.
• Relevant experience with Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Relevant work experience at another government institution in a comparable trajectory.
