Responsibilities

Job Requirements

This is a contract provided until the end of the framework agreement (2029). Possibility to terminate the contract every 3 months, with a notice period of 1 month.

Normal working hours apply here, from Monday to Friday, 7 hours and 36 minutes per day. Teleworking is allowed up to a maximum of 50%, depending on the department's needs and approval by the manager.

• Define and document the scope, governance, data quality, security, risks, and architecture (MID Server, VLAN, etc.) for Discovery
• Design, implement, manage, and continuously improve ServiceNow ITOM Discovery capabilities
• Implement and support MID Servers, credentials, protocols, patterns/probes, and schedules, as well as monitor the ECC Queue and resolve Discovery issues
• Analyze and resolve complex Discovery problems and design sustainable end-to-end solutions
• Participate in defining the CMDB data model, CI classes and relationships, IRE, CI lifecycle, CMDB Health, and data attestation
• Configure Flow Designer, business rules, client scripts, and integrations with maintainable and upgrade-safe solutions
• Provide technical leadership, coordinate contributions from various stakeholders, document solutions, and transfer knowledge
• Experience
• Hands-on experience with implementing and managing ServiceNow ITOM Discovery within complex enterprise environments, including highly secured environments
• Technical knowledge
• ServiceNow CSA, supplemented with relevant CIS or micro-certifications in Data Foundations, ITOM Discovery, CMDB, or CSDM
• CMDB: data model, CI classes and relationships, IRE, lifecycle, governance, Health, and attestation
• Discovery: MID Servers, credentials, protocols, patterns/probes, schedules, ECC Queue, troubleshooting, and security
• Integrations: IntegrationHub ETL, Service Graph Connectors, REST APIs, and reconciliation of multiple data sources
• Discovery governance: scope/subnets, data quality, security, risks, and approvals related to architecture
• ServiceNow development: Flow Designer, business rules, client scripts, and integrations
• General skills & competencies
• Strong analytical skills, good diagnostic abilities, and the ability to design end-to-end solutions
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge transfer, training, and coaching
• Technical leadership and coordination of employees/contributors
• Languages
• Active knowledge of French or Dutch is mandatory
• Knowledge of the other national language will be evaluated
• Active knowledge of English, both spoken and written
