The Role

We're looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join a major transformation programme within a highly regulated financial services environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, enhancement and optimisation of the ServiceNow platform, with a particular focus on the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) module.

Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you will help deliver scalable solutions that support governance, risk and compliance processes across the organisation.

Contract Details

Due to client requirements, applicants must have recent financial services experience and be based within a sensible commuting distance of Glasgow. Remote candidates will not be considered.

• Design, develop and configure ServiceNow solutions with a focus on the IRM module
• Build and enhance workflows, business rules, integrations and platform functionality
• Collaborate with risk, compliance and technology teams to gather and deliver requirements
• Develop custom applications and integrations using ServiceNow best practices
• Support platform upgrades, testing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Ensure solutions align with governance, security and regulatory requirements
• Produce appropriate technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials
• Strong commercial experience as a ServiceNow Developer
• Proven experience working with the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) module
• Experience developing within enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow Scripting and platform configuration
• Experience building integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Recent financial services experience is essential
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Additional ServiceNow certifications, particularly within IRM, GRC or Risk Management
• Experience working within highly regulated environments
• Knowledge of governance, risk and compliance frameworks
• Contract Length: 12 Months Initial Contract
• Rate: Up to £690 per day
• Location: Glasgow
• Working Pattern: 2 days per week onsite (increasing to 3 days per week from 2027)
• IR35 Status: Inside IR35
