SOA Architect / Technical Lead

Darize India is currently looking for a SOA Architect/ Teach Lead to lead one of the critical project for our Europe based client. This is a Remote role based in India.

We are looking for some one who can own the technical direction for the Oracle SOA upgrades, ensuring the target architecture, compatibility approach, migration patterns and technical controls support a safe, phased transition of business-critical integrations.

• Assess the current SOA estate, including composites, BPEL processes, OSB services, adapters, shared components, custom code and external dependencies.
• Define target architecture, upgrade strategy, technical standards, migration patterns and design decisions.
• Lead compatibility and impact assessments for integrations, libraries, adapters, security, certificates and runtime configurations.
• Produce technical designs, interface dependency maps, migration-wave recommendations and implementation guidance.
• Review code and configuration changes, resolve complex technical issues and conduct peer/design reviews.
• Work with QA and operations to define technical regression coverage, observability, rollback criteria and production-readiness checks.
• Support cutover, defect triage, performance tuning and stabilization.
• Strong hands-on Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Fusion Middleware experience.
• Expertise in BPEL, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Mediator, SCA composites, adapters and integration patterns, as applicable to the estate.
• Working knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server, JDeveloper, XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, SOAP and REST.
• Experience with middleware upgrades, platform migration, compatibility assessment and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to produce clear architecture/design documentation and guide offshore engineering teams.
• Experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12c and assessment of supported upgrade paths to the intended target release.
• Knowledge of JMS, JDBC, JCA adapters, identity/security integration, certificates and high availability.
• Experience in regulated or business-critical integration environments.
• Do not assume that every SOA Suite 12c estate can directly upgrade to a stated 14c target; validate exact product versions and Oracle certification documentation.
• Target release, intermediate steps, infrastructure prerequisites and third-party adapter compatibility must be confirmed during discovery.
