Software Architect – Karlskoga

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced software architect for a consulting assignment with our client in advanced technology development within the defense industry. You will contribute to the further development of a product that meets new technical challenges in areas including distributed systems and GPU computing.

The assignment is suitable for you who have a solid background in software development and architecture and who thrive in an environment where technical choices, personal responsibility, and close collaboration are central parts of the work.

About the assignment

As a software architect, you will have a central role in the product's technical development. The work is carried out with continuous integration and involves significant personal responsibility, while processes and methods are continuously developed.

In the assignment, you will, among other things:

• Develop solution proposals for technical architecture.
• Collaborate closely with the agile product owner regarding the prioritization of technical implementations.
• Conduct concept studies for technical choices.
• Create a clear and coherent overall picture of the product's development.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and partners.
• Contribute to the continued technical development in an environment that includes distributed systems and GPU computing, among other things.

Level: Senior

• Have at least 8 years of relevant full-time experience in the relevant field and very deep/high competence or broad generalist competence.
• Have documented experience in software architecture.
• Have a solid background in application development, high-performance computing systems, or similar areas.
• Have very good programming skills.
• Have experience with software development in agile teams.
• Communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
• Are a communicative team player who takes responsibility and dares to try new solutions.
