Project overview

Context

Our client is a fast-growing B2B SaaS scale-up (over 50% per year), a European leader in payment fraud prevention. Its platform automatically verifies suppliers and their bank details for over 500 major international clients, and protects billions of euros in payments each year.

You will join the team responsible for the core of the product: the fraud risk assessment engine. There are two challenges. The first is to scale it up to handle increasing volumes. The second is to integrate LLM-based solutions to rethink the assessment process.

Your missions

Stack

Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, asynchronous processing, Kubernetes, Datadog / Prometheus / Grafana, LLM. AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) are part of the team's daily work.

• Design and drive the technical vision for the distributed systems at the heart of the platform, particularly asynchronous assessment workflows
• Lead complex technical initiatives end-to-end, often starting from unclear requirements
• Build the technical roadmap with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager
• Explore and deploy LLM solutions to solve business problems
• Act as a technical reference and mentor within the squad and beyond
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and observability of critical systems
