Summary

The Solutions Architect will lead the design and delivery of cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure, supporting large-scale application modernisation and digital transformation initiatives. The role requires defining target architectures, driving best practices across cloud technologies and AI, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and business-aligned solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing the Azure-based architecture for the modernized core banking platform.
• Defining resilience requirements across multiple availability zones and possibly multiple cloud providers.
• Assessing multi-cloud strategies to determine feasibility of a single-cloud approach.
• Developing cloud exit and recovery strategies compliant with regulatory expectations.
• Ensuring that the architecture supports business continuity, failover, and operational resilience.
• Collaborating with infrastructure teams to manage networking and cloud dependencies.

Requirements

• Senior Azure Solutions Architect experience.
• Background in the banking industry.
• Expertise in cloud resilience and high availability.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements.
