Specialist Edge Networking & OT-Cybersecurity (m/w/d)

Project overview

For our client we are looking for a Specialist Edge Networking & OT-Cybersecurity (m/w/d) Tasks:

• Design and validate industrial network architectures (routing, segmentation, VPN/IPsec, firewalls, DNS, Layer 2)
• Develop redundancy and failover concepts, plus subnet and IP management
• Prepare implementation guidelines for development, lab, QA, pilot and customer environments
• Perform threat and risk assessments and security gap analyses
• Coordinate penetration tests, including evaluation and remediation recommendations
• Design security hardening, IAM (MFA, RADIUS, SSO) and PKI for edge devices
• Draft concepts for edge device onboarding, remote access, backup, patching and logging
• Analyze and resolve connectivity issues in pilot deployments
• Create architecture and operations documentation and transfer knowledge to the project team Qualifications
• OT networking and OT security experience: Several years of hands-on work with industrial networks and edge gateways
• Expert-level networking fundamentals: Strong command of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, DNS and subnetting
• Secure remote access expertise: Experience with VPN/IPsec, firewalls and zero-trust approaches
• Security assessments: Practical experience with risk assessments, vulnerability management, penetration test coordination and hardening
• PKI, IAM and logging: Knowledge of certificates, MFA/RADIUS/SSO, and SIEM integration Project language: English & ideally German Remote: up to 100%, location Bavaria, Germany Sector: Industry Workload: 80-100% | 4-5 day/week
