We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support a variety of accounting functions, including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, compliance activities, and month-end close processes. This role will work cross-functionally with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely payments, and adherence to established policies and procedures.

• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Perform month-end close activities and ensure assigned balance sheet accounts are accurately maintained and reconciled.
• Analyze financial data, investigate discrepancies, and research variances to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review and interpret contractual agreements and supporting documentation to ensure proper accounting treatment and adherence to established requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Operations, and Finance to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Prepare payments, supporting documentation, and financial reports in accordance with established guidelines.
• Audit financial transactions and data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls.
• Provide exceptional customer service and act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders.

About our Process

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, account analysis, and month-end close.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SAP experience is a plus.
• Must be a Full time employee (30+ weekly hours/+130 hours per month) to be eligible
